How to get to Buwakan ni Alejandra

If you are a type of person who loves flower and nature, you might consider visiting “ Buwakan ni Alejandra. A picturesque flower garden which is located in Transcentral Highway Sitio Bunga, Barangay Gaas, Balamban, Cebu. It’s about 32 kilometers from the city of Cebu. 


 With an entrance fee of 55 pesos for adults, 25 of senior citizens and kids you can enjoy the wide variety of fascinating flowers with vibrant colors pattern in arabesque design which gives embellishments to the garden. 

Buwakan comes from the Visayan root word “ break” which means “flowers”.




 The name given to the place in honor of Alejandra , the mother-in-law of the owner and landscaper, Eleuterio Getapa. Thus the name Buwakan ni Alejandra.

How to get there:


You can ride on a taxi, van , habal-habal or rent a grab car.


For Van, you can hire Geme Rameso. He will surely gives you a good ride with reasonable price. 


One of the things that enjoyed most aside from the different flowers, is the one of their personnels instructed us to strike a different pose.
