A. Content/Topic: Exploring Lifestyle and Weight Management for School and Family Fitness B. Performance Standard: The learner designs a physical activity program for the family, school and peers to achieve fitness. C. Learning Competencies: Undertakes the Physical activity and physical fitness assessments Prepares a physical activity program D. Performance Task: Physical fitness assessments Physical activity program Materials: Physical Fitness Record Stop watch Mat (optional) meterstick weighing scale tape measure PE Attire - White t shirt & jogging pants/leggings/ rubber shoes /  Space  PRE- REQUISITE :   -You will perform the Physical Fitness Test -This is to test your strengths and weaknesses with regards to your fitness level. -Please be reminded that this is NOT a competition nor a basis of getting a higher grade if you achieve or reach a higher score.  -This is to assess the needed activities to be done for the next lesson.

Physical Fitness Test Objectives 1. To determine the level of fitness of students. 2. To identify the strength and weakness for development and improvement. 3. To provide baseline data for selection of physical activities for enhancement of health and skill performance. 4. To gather data for the development of norms and standards. 5. To motivate , guide and counsel students in selecting sports for recreation, competition and lifetime participation. What are the things you need to remember before engaging into physical test or physical activity? 1. Follow the procedures in taking the physical fitness test. 2. Wear appropriate attire or the Physical Education uniform. 3. Do warm - up exercises. They are a must. 4. Observe safety in performing the activities. 5.
