Performance Standard:

-The learner performs East Asian songs with appropriate pitch, rhythm, expression and style.


Performance Task:


Virtual Choir Singing - East Asian Folk Song : (Group )

Assign members of the group

*Singer

*Instrumentalist - play any instrument or improvise an instrument

*Video Editor - edit the collated video per singer and instrumentalist and

combine it into one beautiful virtual performance.

(Vocal Music- Video Clip -minimum of 2 mins and a maximum of 3 minutes)


Materials: 

  • Vocal Singing- video cam or cellphone with audio and video recorder, lyrics of the song

  • Instrumentalists - any instruments (keyboard, guitar, kalimba, flute, ukelele
  • - improvisation of instrument - shaker (any canister/empty bottle then place small pebbles /stones / beads/ monggos) 2 spoons, blocks of wood with sandpaper, 2 bamboo poles cut in different size, strings with coconut shells and a piece of wood or kitchen utensils.

  • Use app like bandlab for the improvisation of the sound/ music.


  • Video Editing- video editing app, recorded videos from each members, laptop/ cellphone

Virtual Choir Singing

  • Select a role you want to portray (Singer, instrumentalist , video editor)
  • Practice the song and memorize it.
  • Take a video while singing the song.
  • Record your own voice using cellphone, video cam or cellphone
  • Submit your video to your video editor.
  • Edit the video using any video editor example such as kinemaster, capcut, wevideo.com
  • Name of each members should be indicated in the video at the start 
  • Group Introduction is a must
  • Optional: Group may add Bloppers at the end...
  • Submission file should be mp4 format.
  • Once done, EACH member of the group must individually submit the Video Presentation in NeoLMS. 
  • There will be a deduction of points for LATE submission.



Deadline of the output will be on November 23, 2021
