SK National Congress was held last October 28-30 at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu City . Our group, Lumad Basakanon was one of the performers of the said event. I am one of the dancers of the said group. Before it was started, I did not know what was the occasion for we just normally invited to perform. Upon reaching the venue, I noticed they were hundreds of young people gathered in the place. They wear the same shirt. That was then I realized that it was an SK Congress. I suddenly felt envious to them for at their age, they able to meet the President, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and other senators and learn something from them.
